CHIRON

North and South have returned to their rightful places, and perspective is righted. This centaur is called Chiron, and he is a teacher. Chiron taught all the great heroes of Greece, watched them live and die until there was an accident and he was poisoned. Chiron was immortal, and lay in agony for nine days, his students gathered around him, weeping, until the gods took pity and hung him in the sky as a constellation. There Chiron continues to teach, and though he is no longer quite so easy to talk with, the patient can still learn many things, and so Chiron lives on.

Talk about a time when someone fulfilled your expectations in an unusual way. Did it disappoint you? Why or why not?
